These terms apply to everyone who uses Task.mk. By creating an account or posting a listing you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy. Please read them; they are written to be short and clear.
1. What Task.mk is
Task.mk, run by Task.mk, is an online notice board where people post work they need done (“hiring” listings) or offer themselves as available for work (“availability” listings).
Task.mk is not an employer, employment agency or party to any agreement between users. We don’t check candidates, guarantee that work will be done or paid, or handle payments between users. Any agreement about the work — terms, pay, safety, taxes and paperwork — is solely between the people involved.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian, and any work you take on must respect the labour-law protections for minors (for example, limits on working hours, night work and dangerous work).
- Give true information, keep one account per person, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Rules for listings
Every listing must describe real, legal work with honest pay and details. Not allowed:
- illegal work, undeclared work that breaks the law, or anything involving weapons, drugs or other illegal goods;
- adult or sexual services, pyramid or “get rich quick” schemes, requests for upfront fees from job seekers;
- discrimination — for example by ethnicity, religion, gender, age or disability — beyond what the law allows for a specific job;
- misleading, fake or duplicate listings, or someone else’s contact details without their permission;
- insults, threats, spam or links to harmful sites.
We may refuse, pause or remove any listing that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that do so repeatedly. A listing removed for breaking the rules is not refunded.
4. Prices and payment
- Per listing: 99 MKD for any listing (hiring or availability). A listing goes live once we confirm your payment and stays on the board for 10 days, then disappears automatically. Renewing it costs the same.
- Urgent listing: 149 MKD instead of 99 MKD. It gets the “Urgent” badge and appears at the top of the board for its 10 days. This also applies with a business plan: normal listings are included, urgent ones are paid separately.
- Business plans: 1.499 MKD for 6 months, 2.199 MKD for 9 months or 2.999 MKD for 12 months. During the plan, all listings from your account are published and renewed immediately at no extra cost. The plan starts when we confirm your payment (or when your current plan ends, if you extend early) and does not renew automatically.
- Payment is made by bank transfer or Viber with the reference we show you. Confirmation is currently done by hand.
- Refunds: if we don’t publish a paid listing or activate a paid plan for a reason that isn’t your fault, we refund you in full. Once a listing is published or a plan is activated at your request, the service has been provided, so it is not refundable, except where consumer-protection law gives you a right to one.
5. Ratings
Rate people honestly, based on real contact or work with them. Don’t rate yourself through another account, and don’t trade or buy ratings. We may remove ratings that are abusive, fake or break these terms.
6. Staying safe
Meet in public places when you can, agree on pay and conditions before work starts, never send money to someone who promises you a job, and tell us about suspicious listings at support@task.mk.
7. Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. By posting it, you allow Task.mk to display and store it on the site for as long as it is published and as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to post it.
8. Liability
We work to keep Task.mk available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Task.mk is not responsible for users’ listings or conduct, for agreements between users, or for any loss arising from them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
9. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from your profile; this removes your profile, listings and ratings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Disputes go to the competent court in North Macedonia, unless consumer-protection law gives you a different right.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we let registered users know in advance. Questions: support@task.mk.
